History is WITTEN!!

As of March, 10th 2023, Witten is the first Small Munsterlander in UNITED STATES HISTORY to finish a Certificate of Merit. Thank you to all the judges who have awarded her along the way and helped make history.

Witten is a six year old female Small Munsterlander from Wolf Creek Kennel in Illinois, USA. She is fast and agile in the field, calm and collected in the show ring, and the world’s biggest ham in the house. Witten has a fantastic nose and a bold talent for tracking. Her strong prey drive and willingness to work make her a fun dog to have in the field. She has been trained and handled by 20 year old, first time bird dog owner – which speaks highly to her trainability and cooperation. No offense, Shelby.

 Witten is equally as fun to handle in the conformation ring. She has been in some of the biggest venues on the East Coast, including the 2020 AKC National Championship Dog Show (where she won an FSS Group ONE and was Reserve Best in Open Show) and handles the pressure and atmosphere with ease. However, Witten’s best qualities are in the home. She has an immediate auto off switch and turns into a couch potato as soon as she walks through the door. Witten’s perfect day would be a small run in the morning and then snuggling in the bed with her owner for the rest of the day. Inside the house she is loyal and protective of her owners, while outside – she has never met a stranger. She is friendly and playful with other dogs and loves to socialize.
